Puzzle Details

Imagine you have a block that is very large and a number of logs, 2 feet in circumference.

If the block is on the logs and pushed, how far will the block move for each full turn of a log?

[Ref: ZMWW]

If we consider the logs on their own for a moment, for each full turn, they will travel 2 feet (in relation to the floor).

However, at the same time, the block on top will also travel 2 feet (in relation to the logs).

For a total movement of 4 feet for the block on top.
