However, their friend Alex is eating their collection, and it takes Alex 20 minutes to eat each nut (and Alex eats all day long, and starts on yesterday's nuts).
How many extra nuts will they have at the end of a 24-hour day if they work together?

Frankie finds 4 every hour, Glenn finds 5 every hour and Alex eats 3 every hour, so the total per hour is 6, which is 6 x 24 = 144 extra nuts in a day.
